Every owner asks this first, and they are right to. Here is the whole answer, in the order people ask it.
Where your data lives
On your PC and your phone. The files sit in ordinary folders you can open, move or delete yourself. AI INST hosts nothing.
Who can see it
You. Your AI provider processes what you send it under your own account and their terms. Nobody at AI INST has access after handover.
What AI INST keeps
The notes from our setup conversation and the configuration we built, so we can help you later. Not your finances, not your contacts, not your reflections.
Connected accounts
Every connection runs under your own account, and you authorise each one yourself. They are listed in your Google or Microsoft settings, and you can revoke any of them at any time without asking us.
NDA as standard
A mutual NDA is offered before we start, at no extra cost. If you want it signed before the first real conversation, that is how we would do it too.
Prefer the assistant not to see something? Leave it out, or do not connect that account. It only ever reads what you give it access to.

Not included
- Your Claude or ChatGPT subscription. That is paid to the provider directly.
- Paid plans for the tools we connect to. Those stay between you and each provider.
- Bookkeeping, HR or legal advice. It organises your information. It does not replace your accountant.
- Support beyond the thirty days. We are still here, it is just quoted as its own small job.
- Rebuilding the structure after handover. Small tweaks are included, a redesign is quoted.
