9. Facebook and Instagram Data (AI INST Social Agent)
AI INST Social Agent is a service for businesses. A business owner or admin connects their Facebook Page and linked Instagram professional account through Facebook Login for Business. With their permission we access:
- The list of Pages and Instagram accounts they manage and choose to connect (name and ID).
- Comments on the connected Page's and Instagram account's posts, and the name and ID of the commenter.
- Messenger and Instagram Direct messages sent to the connected account, and the sender's name and ID.
- A Page access token, which we store encrypted and use only to read and reply on that business's behalf.
How we use it. Only to show the conversations to the business in its AI INST inbox, to generate replies with AI based on the business's own information, to post those replies, and to let the business's staff take over a conversation. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers that run the service (hosting, database, and the AI model provider that drafts replies).
Retention. Conversation records are kept while the business's account is active and deleted within 30 days of disconnecting or closing the account. Raw technical event logs are deleted after 30 days.
Deletion. Remove the app from your Facebook Business integrations, disconnect the Page inside AI INST, or email hello@aiinst.io. Full instructions are on our Data Deletion page.
